Breakable Chocolate Heart

Let’s your tween laugh and get out some of their emotions, by pounding a chocolate heart with a mallet and revealing a secret inside. I found this super cute one on Etsy, highly encouraging supporting small business so take a look. However if you are feeling adventurious, you can DIY your own breakable heart by purchasing the following items and checking out a few youtube videos online.
Dainty Valentines Jewelry from Alex & Ani
Whether your tween is in love with rings, necklaces, bracelets, or earrings your sure to find some great pieces at Alex & Ani. This brand feels WAY MORE high end then the stuff at tween geared stores is great quality, and at reasonable prices, you won’t lose your mind if your forgetful tween loses a piece.
Perfume that smells good and good for you

There is something so grown up about wearing perfume, but the scents targeted at teens are generally crappy & poor quality, plus if you are like me your wallet is not interested in getting your tween hooked on designer anything. That’s why I really like Skyler.
Skyler scents are free from toxic chemicals, cruelty-free, and hypoallgenic making these healthier options for a tweens growing body. Plus the scents are things adults will actually want to smell, not “hot chocolate” or “vanilla sugar cookie”.
You can purchase a sampler if your tween is just trying scents OR the subscription box that sends a new roll-on scent every month for just $20 a month. I used code WELCOME50 making my first subscription box $10! plus you can cancel anytime. And if perfume is not your tweens thing, they have a bunch of other clean body products in great smells, way better the garbage the big chains sell at the mall.
Doodle Crates from KiwiCo

If your tween loves arts and crafts don’t hesitate to grab them one of the great crates from KiwiCo. KiwiCo is a monthly subscription service (but you can buy just one if you like), that provides everything your tween needs to complete a great craft bonus some of the crafts are room decor- another hit with my tween. Not crafty? KiwiCo also has 8 different lines of boxes ranging from ages 0-104, including STEM and world themed ones. Boxes start at $16.95 if you purchase an annual subscription and around $20 bucks for just one. Right now they are offering 30% off if you sign up for their newsletter.
Beanie Boo Valentines Puppy
No parent can go wrong with the tried and true gift of TY Beanie Boo. I’ve never seen a tween girl who didn’t think these were adorable. My favorite is the puppy but you can’t go wrong with any of the Valentine days themed ones.
Book Box from BeTWEEN the Bookends

Tweens who love books will love opening this book box. Yes I know you might be thinking “another subscription box” I just love good curated content. Plus you can push off the blame if your moody tween hates it.
Inside each box, you’ll find 2-3 age-appropriate books, a bookmark, and 6-8 lifestyle items. Plus this company is started by a Mom and her Tween, read about them here. How could you go wrong with your gift is already Tween approved.
When All Else Fails… Gift Cards

Let’s be clear this is my LEAST favorite gift to give anyone. However tweens love shopping, therefore gift cards are NEVER a fail. Some of the top stores I would suggest for gift cards are:
